Biographical Info

Kimberly Scherer, D.O. is a radiologist specializing in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. She is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus.         

Dr. Scherer was recruited to join the Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ faculty after completing a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from 2018-2019 at NewYork Presbyterian/Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology from 2014 to 2018 at Atlantic Health System, where she served as the Chief Resident from 2017-2018. Prior to that, she completed an internship at Jefferson Health System.      

Dr. Scherer received her D.O. from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013 and received her B.S. from Pennsylvania State University in 2007.         

Dr. Scherer has a special interest in superficial and deep venous interventions, including treatment of spider veins, varicose veins, deep venous thrombosis and May Thurner syndrome.   She also has a focus on Women's Health, including Pelvic Congestion Syndrome, Uterine Fibroids and Fallopian Tube Recanalization.
